The VisionAire 3 is a great lightweight stationary oxygen concentrator from one of the top names in the oxygen concentrator industry, AirSep. This is a great solution for those who need a simple, low continuous flow dosage. Learn the details for the VisionAire 3 here, to see if it is right for you.

The Good

The VisionAire 3 is very light for a stationary oxygen concentrator, at just 30 lbs. You transport it from your bedroom to the living room so you can watch TV while getting your oxygen therapy for the day? You’ll have no trouble, because of its light weight easy to maneuver wheels and centered handle at the top of the machine. The energy efficiency on the VisionAire 3 is also a dream. At 3 LPM, you can count on it using no more than 200 watts. At the highest flow dosage, the noise level won’t become bothersome at all. The loudest it’s ever gotten was just around 40 decibels, which is like a low hum that is very easy to grow accustomed to.

The Bad

The flow capacity is low as far as stationary oxygen concentrators go. The settings are 1, 2 and 3 LPM with no 0.5 increments, thus making it the wrong choice for those who need 0.5 LPM dosages as well.

The Bottom Line

A cheaper option from the VisionAire 5, as long as you don’t need continuous flow oxygen more than 3 LPM at a time. A perfect and economical option if you need no more than 3 LPM for a few hours out of the day, or for overnight use, and if you don’t plan on doing a lot of traveling. It would be easy to transport the VisionAire from one destination to another over a short distance, as long as you don’t need to use it along the way, such as in the case of spending the night somewhere else that you can reach in a few hours by car.
