Meet the wonderful VisionAire 5, from AirSep, the brand that gives us many of the best oxygen concentrator models out there today. This 30 lb stationary unit can deliver between 1 and 5 LPM of continuous flow, and is easy to use. If you’re interesting, but aren’t sure if the VisionAire 5 is right for you, here are some of the pros and cons, and information about this stationary oxygen concentrator.

The Good

The VisionAire 5 can give you as much as 5 LPM, at an average purity of 93%, even on the highest setting. You’ll love how light it is – only 30 lbs! This makes it easy to move it from one room to another, if you’d rather watch TV for a few hours before you move to your bedroom to go to sleep. Another amazing thing about the VisionAire 5, is it requires you to change or clean no filters, and is virtually maintenance free. The noise level won’t bother you at all, in fact, the low hum from this concentrator (no more than 45 decibels) has been found to help relax patients, and help them fall asleep if they are using it during the night.

The Bad

There are no real bad things about the VisionAire 5, just the fact that if you need more than 5 LPM of continuous flow, you won’t get anymore that from this stationary concentrator.

The Bottom Line

As long as you don’t plan on doing a lot of traveling, or if you only need your oxygen therapy for a few hours out of the day, or if you need it for overnight use, the AirSep VisionAire 5 is perfect for you. As far as meeting prescribed oxygen needs, this will be great for patients who need no more than 5 LPM continuous flow.
