The Perfecto 2 by Invacare is a small but tough and dependable stationary oxygen concentrator. With a high oxygen purity and 0.5 increments, it can meet the oxygen requirements of those patients who require no more than 5 LPM of continuous flow. Read on to learn whether or not the Perfecto 2 is best for you.

The Good

The first great thing you’ll notice about the Perfecto 2, is its small size and light weight. It stands at a miniature 23 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 11.5 inches deep at its thickest point, and weighs just 43 lbs. Besides the compact size, it also has a sleek look that will blend in nicely with its surroundings. It delivers 0.5 LPM increments of oxygen, from 0.5 to 5 LPM. The Perfecto 2 is also great if you want to save on your electric bill. This energy efficient model uses an average of 280 watts, but will draw less if you use one of the lower settings. You can also count on an average oxygen purity of 93%, even on the highest setting.

The Bad

If you need an oxygen dose over 5 LPM, the Perfecto 2 is not the right choice for you.

The Bottom Line

This is one of the 5 LPM stationary oxygen concentrators that are better for high altitude use. Its maximum operational elevation is 8,000 feet, with the oxygen purity dropped to just 90% if you’re up as high as 13,129 feet above sea level. This is also a great stationary model for those who don’t do a lot of long distance traveling, but who might want to stay the night somewhere not far from home. Being a stationary model, the Perfecto 2 cannot be used in the car, but it’s light, small and easy to transport in a car. Perfect for those who need overnight oxygen, or oxygen for a few hours out of the day.
