The Eclipse 3 is brought to you by SeQual, one of the most trusted oxygen concentrator brands. You’ll love leaving the house with this sleek and powerful continuous flow/pulse dose model. A great concentrator for those who need a high flow dosage.

The Good

This is one of the lightest portable oxygen concentrators in its capacity range, as well as being easy to use. You can get from 0.5 to 3 LPM of continuous flow in 0.5 increments, as well as 6 pulse dose settings and a maximum pulse dose of 192 ml/min. This is great for those who need a higher or specific continuous flow dose, or a high pulse dose setting. The Eclipse 3 also features SeQual’s patented AutoSat technology to make sure you are getting the same constant amount of oxygen even if your breath rate suddenly changes.

The Bad

You cannot safely use the Eclipse 3 while you charge the battery on DC power. If you are traveling in a motor vehicle, you will not be able to charge up the battery before reaching your destination, and use it simultaneously. The Eclipse line has been improved since this model, so if you need your oxygen therapy constantly, or for most hours out of the day and you need to do a lot of traveling by car, this would not be the right choice for you.

The Bottom Line

This is the perfect portable model for those who need up to 3 LPM continuous flow oxygen, who do not need to use their oxygen concentrator in a vehicle for long durations. Aside from the DC power limitation, the Eclipse 3 is wonderful to travel with because of its small size and weight, as well as the lightweight and easy to maneuver mobile cart that comes with it. The Eclipse 3 is approved for use on board a commerical flight by the FAA.
